If the situation isn’t right for us to visit then we can do an online show for you and/or we can send you a STEMintheBOX workshop pack with all of the materials you need to run your own Wonderstruck Workshop.

We’ve just launched our third STEMintheBOX workshop – how to build your very own loudspeaker from an electric motor (much easier than coiling wires around magnets!)

Online Shows

We’ve currently got two online shows available:

  • The Supersonic Sideshow – all about sound and vibration
  • Forces & Energy – all about (believe it or not) forces and energy

Online shows are suitable for upper KS2KS3, last 30 minutes, with an additional 15 minute Q&A session at the end and some brief teacher notes to give you an idea of what to expect!

Wonderstruck STEMintheBOX Workshops

We're super-pleased to add a new STEMintheBOX workshop to our growing roster!

We're now offering three STEMintheBOX Workshop packs; Fan-Powered Cars, Rocket Cars and Loudspeakers.

These are all suitable for KS2 & KS3 students and contain:

  • All the bits you need for 30 students to participate in whichever workshop you choose!
  • PDF files of build instruction sheets
  • A powerpoint presentation introducing the science and showing the building process
  • Videos of the introduction and hints for teachers
  • Teacher notes on how to run the session
  • An optional live workshop intro via Zoom or MS Teams (there is an extra charge for this if you want it)
  • Discounts on additional boxes if you want to run a workshop with more than one class

Check out the pdf downloads below for more information.
